Graham playing his new piano. Musical toys are hands down his favorite right now. Thanks for sending the piano, Grammy! And thanks for the awesome overalls, Uncle Peter and Tiffany!

Graham had a few of his friends over to play this afternoon. I think he's officially crawling now (though he's still slow and gets frustrated, and does much better on carpet than on wood or tile) and he is definitely pulling up. He was very excited and proud of himself when he pulled up to standing by the tub!

Graham tries out his brand new toy, the leapfrog musical table. So far, it is a huge hit!
Graham had a big day of firsts today. He enjoyed various finger foods (usually he prefers a very smooth puree, thank you very much)--grapes, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs--, pulled up to standing on a few different toys, and really bopped to the beat at music class.
These new accomplishments, along with his continuing efforts to figure out crawling, must be why he has decided this week that naps are 30 - 45 minutes long instead of his previous blissful 2 hour affairs. Fingers crossed that Graham processes these new skills quickly and (all of us) can rest again.

Graham and Daddy demonstrating one of Graham's favorite games--the choo-choo train. Graham braces in "flagpole" position against Daddy's stomach and leads the way for a "chugga-chugga-choo-choo" trip around the apartment.

Graham entertained himself with my keys for an amazingly long time this afternoon. His favorite was hitting the keys against the oven door to make a loud noise. He's into banging in general right now--hitting blocks together (he will hold a block in each hand and bang them together, or will hit a block against one that I'm holding), pots and pans, anything that can be a pseudo-drum.
