Happy Halloween!  Graham reprised his role as King Max from last year.  Connor was a ghost (thank you Seamstress Grammy!), intended to go with Ghostbuster Graham (a costume plan that didn't quite come to fruition due to the move and related chaos).  We went to a Halloween party and then Graham sprint-trick-or-treated his way home.  He was very excited to find his stuffed animals waiting for him in his loft, aka, his castle!

Moving day!  Graham had his last day of school and then went to Sam's house for his nap to give us a chance to set-up his room in the new house before he arrived.  Meanwhile, Connor supervised the movers and greeted Daddy with the first giggles at the new house!

Day before the move.  Graham helped pack boxes of his books and toys.  He doesn't seem to be either excited or upset by the idea of moving to the new house; he's just rolling with the punches.

Graham put together this huge 24 piece puzzle all by himself!  Oh, and we bought a house today.  No biggie.  Let's hope this means you never have to see a photo of that terrible tile floor again.

Yesterday, Connor snatched 2 green beans and a slice of pear out of my hands and actually consumed them.  I can take a hint.  Time for some sweet potatoes!

Brothers!  Graham doesn't ask to hold Connor often, but it's very sweet when he does.

Connor is a trained attack baby who loves to suck on noses/cheeks/eyes while grabbing hair.  It's a little scary, to be honest.

Welcome to the family, Sawyer Bernard!  All we know about you so far is that you're extremely cute and punctual and have great parents, but that's a good start!  Congratulations Aunt Sarah and Uncle Tim!

Not one to be upstaged, Connor figured out how to suck his toes today.  Connor seems very interested in starting solids and is not satisfied with a few licks of apple kindly shared by Graham.  Hold your horses for a couple more weeks, Connor!

Graham and Daddy went on a special outing this morning--the Prospect Park Alliance opened the zoo early, had carousel rides, and made butter & apple pie at a historic home in the park for members.  Graham and Daddy didn't think that was enough treats, so they went to Shake Shack afterwards.

Graham and Violet painted pumpkins at the Harvest Fest this morning.  Graham is very excited about Halloween and keeps asking me and Will what we are going to be for Halloween.  When we ask him what he wants to be, he usually says Max (from Where the Wild Things Are, the same costume he had last year), but he throws in the occasional request to be Batman or a ghost instead.

The boys hung out before meeting Daddy at Lucali for likely our last taste of NYC's best pizza before the move.

Connor and Graham both love to swing right now.  Connor loves teeny tiny swings that are mostly about smiling at Mama; Graham loves to choose between "giant" and "huge" swings.  Note the short sleeves--Brooklyn still thinks it's summer!
