Graham loves reading his Mickey Mouse Farm Sing-a-long book, which includes songs like "Old Duck Donald" and "Minnie had a Little Lamb." He says "E-I-E-I-O" fairly appropriately.

Graham and Noah got soaked in the sprinklers this afternoon.
Graham is having a language explosion. Besides finally using "Mama" and "Daddy" consistently and appropriately, he has a bunch of new words and seems to pick up more by the minute. New words include "truck," "nose," "pool," "cat," "foot," and, his first adjective, "hot."

Graham meets Daddy's hero on the way to the Natural History Museum. FYI, 17 months is too young to appreciate the dinosaur exhibit, even if your 17-month-old loves to roar and point at dinosaurs in books.

On our way down to Philly for Meghan's bridal shower, Graham watched a few minutes of "Toy Story." He doesn't really understand the concept of watching something on a screen, but he did pay attention long enough to laugh at the dinosaur.

Big day today! In the morning, we tried out the brand new pop-up pool, complete with sand, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas, at Pier 2. After Graham's nap, we biked to an amazing new park in Park Slope for some water fun and an early evening kids' concert, where Graham shook his booty until bedtime.

Graham's manners are improving--umprompted, he said "thank you" in response to someone giving him a snack today!

Graham has become very interested in utensils in the last week or so. Today's attempt with corn was his most successful so far.

Graham listens intently to one of the sculptures in an art installation at Madison Square Park. When you touch the sculptures, they make different noises which change as your hand moves. (http://www.madisonsquarepark.org/things-to-do/calendar/mad-sq-art-charles-long)

Get back to work, Graham! No taking breaks! Graham is a very enthusiastic cozy coupe pusher, which is helpful when it's time to give someone else a turn riding in the car.
