Look who's drinking from a bottle!  Connor pulled it together in time for our trip to Oregon, when Grammy took care of him during lots of wedding activities, and now seems OK with bottles (provided they are at the perfect temperature, he is at the exact right point of hunger, and he feels like it).

Graham enjoyed his milk on a dinner date with Phoebe.

Connor slept off this morning's trip to the doctor on my lap.  Aside from yet another unsuccessful attempt at a blood draw, he did great--height at 26 inches (79%), weight at 15 lb, 4 oz (51% and exactly double his birth weight), and head circumference at 42.5 cm (50%).

2 years, 6 months/18 weeks, 4 days.

Connor seems content to hang out in the stroller while Graham runs around the park right now.  Maybe he would be amenable to taking a stroll in the the double stroller now, after our unsuccessful first attempt at that a couple months ago!

Graham went to his first arcade this morning while we waited for the weather to clear.  He selected a gummy mustache as his prize for all his (aka Daddy's) ski ball tickets.   After driving down the mountain, we stopped into Baker & Spice for some of our wedding tarts.  Graham preferred the chocolate one.

2 years, 6 months/17 weeks, 4 days.

On Uncle Peter, Aunt Tiffany, Dylan and Tyler's last day at Mt. Hood, we went to Trillium Lake, where the boys splashed in the water and watched an osprey catch fish.

In the evening, Graham enjoyed his very first ice cream cone all of his own while Uncle John held baby Connor.

2 years, 6 months/17 weeks, 3 days (4 months).

Graham filled his day with adventure sports while Connor engaged in activities more appropriate to his tender months.  Happy 1/3 of a year, Connor!

Connor watched the action while Graham, Dylan and Tyler played in the pool this afternoon.  Graham was THRILLED to have his big cousins to play with and they could not have been nicer to him.

After playing a few tunes with Daddy in the morning, we said farewell to Grammy's house and drove up to Mt. Hood for some mountain time.  Connor is getting better in the car (less screaming, more sleeping) and Graham is getting worse (more barfing, less sleeping).  Everyone was very happy to arrive at the condo and take a dip!

Graham and Daddy flew to Oregon 24 hours after me and Connor.  As usual, it sounds like Graham was a champion traveler (the unlimited movies help).  Graham requested waffles on their drive from Portland to Corvallis and Daddy took a self-sacrificing trip to Elmer's to oblige.

After a month's absence, Connor is reunited with Grammy in Oregon!  Connor was a champ on his first flight, attracting lots of attention for being adorable in the airport and thankfully no attention for crying, fussing or other problems on the plane.  Thanks Grammy, Uncle Peter, and Aunt Tiffany for taking care of the little guy while I did wedding activities!

Connor gave me the best birthday present I could ask for and had his longest sleep yet last night (9:30-5:50).

Happy two-and-a-half birthday, Graham, and happy 29th birthday, Granny Annie!  Daddy carried Connor in the moby for the first time today.

Graham is figuring out his scooter!  He pushes with one foot correctly but insists on holding the handle bars by the ends rather than on top.  He can scoot but isn't very fast, which is fine by me.

Connor continues to work on a 3-month-old's most important skill, sleeping.

Connor loved meeting Aunt Sarah for the first time this weekend.  Thanks, Nana, for the ridiculously cute outfit so that Connor could look his best for the introduction!

Cousins!  Graham and Connor have been counting down the days to see Nana, Molly, Uncle Bob, Aunt Emily, Uncle Tim, and the mama-to-be of honor, Aunt Sarah!

Graham is quite a ladies man.  When he saw his friend Charlotte playing in a park we were walking by, he insisted on going in to say hello.

Graham is doing a lot of instructing Connor these days.  Here he is reading Connor his Dinosaurs Love Underpants book.  Connor politely didn't mention that he is more interested in his treetop friends playmat.
