Day at the beach!  We've been going to the Red Hook pool after camp many afternoons and Graham is suddenly swimming independently for 10-15 feet at a stretch!  He was excited to try out his moves in the ocean.

We went to the Bronx zoo this morning to check out the new Nature Trek exhibit, then brought two very hungry boys to Arthur Avenue for giant slices of pizza.  They both finished their entire slices!

The boys have been in circus camp for the past two weeks.  Today was their big show.  Both were really excited to perform for the parents and show off their new skills.

Poor Graham is under the weather and missed out on a trip to the original shake shack with my college friend Lori and her kids.  Sleep tight, sweet prince.

Graham, a masked man, and I went to the playground after camp today.  The boys started Park Slope Day Camp this week and seem to be having fun and adjusting just fine.

Last day in Oregon so of course we stopped at Baker & Spice for one of the tarts from our wedding.  They are all still on the menu.

Last day at the family vacation!  The boys recruited more people to toss them around the water and play endless games of mini-golf.  They had a blast playing with all their cousins and Uncles!

Lots of pool time in the saltwater pool today!  The boys insisted on wearing their swimmies this entire trip.

Not pictured: floating the Deschutes in inner tubes.  Everyone got their own tube and floated down a mostly-lazy river.  The boys loved the short stretch of rapids and did it multiple times!  A couple more years and they'll be ready for white-water rafting.

We woke up this morning and explored the Inn of the Seventh Mountain--the boys were thrilled to discover pools, playgrounds, tetherball (which they'd never played before), and--best of all--mini-golf!

Meanwhile, Will, after spending a night in Portland with his friend Keith, was doing a little solo hiking near Mt. Hood.

Off to Oregon for our semi-annual family vacation!  After a very early morning and a stop in St. Paul (which thankfully had a great airport playground), we made it to PDX, where we met-up with Granny Annie (the blue laces in the PDX carpet pic)!
