Graham wanted to tell Connor about his animals, so he introduced Connor to each and told him what noise they make.  Connor seemed fairly interested.

Graham loves the sprinklers so much this summer.  Last summer, he was a little tentative about getting wet, but a few weeks ago, he seemed to make the connection that it feels good to get drenched on a hot day, and since then, all he wants to do is go to the "water park" (any playground with sprinklers).

Connor chilled at the park today with his buddies Ian and Charlotte (both also younger siblings) and Daddy.

Graham is a blueberry loving fool like his Uncle Michael.

First (of many) sibling fight--Graham campaigned for more park time with his lady friends while Connor advocated to stay home on the playmat so he could work on his back-to-front roll (he's not there quite yet).

Graham wanted to hold Connor this morning.  Connor wasn't sure that was a great idea.

Graham and Daddy took the ferry to Governor's Island today to check out the vintage carousel rides on display.  They also had a croque monsieur and a banana nutella crepe.  Connor and I definitely made a bad decision in sitting this one out.

While Connor celebrated his first quarter-year of life, Graham investigated strange artifacts from the past at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.

Connor and I counted down the minutes until we could get out of the heat while Graham frolicked with Bennett in the pool.

Connor is very lucky that many of Graham's friends also have new siblings, so he has a built-in peer group.  Charlotte kindly shared her playmat with Connor while Noah shared his trains with Graham.

The early bird gets the worm.  Graham, Connor and I opened up the water park today to try to sneak in some outside time before it got too hot.

Connor and Graham hung out in their respective special chairs this morning.  Connor definitely prefers the bumbo to more traditional tummy time.

Connor has figured out that he can use his feet to kick the bars of his activity mat and move his treetop friends.  This keeps him occupied for a good 15 minutes or so.  Graham would prefer to spend his time under the sprinklers.

Batman helped me make banana nut muffins for snack this afternoon.  His favorite part was mashing the bananas with his fingers.

We tried to beat the July heat with ice cream at Farmacy, but Graham had the best strategy--just skivvies and Grammy's flip flops!

I hate to speak too soon, but thanks to a lot of help from peanut M&M's, potty training is going amazingly well.  Graham hasn't had an accident in over a week and always wears big boy underpants or his birthday suit while awake.  We'll tackle night & nap later.

We had 2 things to celebrate today--our nation's independence from GB and a visit from Grammy!  After taking a snooze with Marlon, Connor relaxed in the backyard at Phoebe's house, where Grammy is staying for the week.  Graham made himself useful by watering the plants while Daddy grilled up brats & corn.
