Graham explores the exersaucer which he borrowed from his friend Sam (in exchange, Graham loaned Sam his jumperoo).

Graham clapped today!! I think it was deliberate, but hard to say for sure. We have been singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" a lot lately.

32 weeks, 5 days.

Graham went to music class with his friends and then hung out on our stoop until dinnertime. I think he would have preferred staying out until bedtime--he soundly rejected the delicious quinoa and banana puree I made for him.

32 weeks, 4 days.

Graham had a very sleepy day today. Fingers crossed it was just a mood and not the start of a bug.

Monday, September 26, 2011

32 weeks, 3 days.

Graham and his friend Thomas played with trucks at the park this afternoon. Graham doesn't really get mad when another baby steals the toy he's playing with, but he goes after it and trying to steal it back.

32 weeks, 2 days.

Daddy tried to cheer up Graham after a tough loss by the Eagles. It seems to have worked.

Graham cut his third tooth (top left) today!

Look who's thinking about crawling! He isn't going anywhere yet, but he can hold himself on all fours and desperately wants to move. Note the itouch as bait.

31 weeks, 6 days.

We have lift-off! Graham figured out the jumping feature of the jumperoo this morning (before now, he has just been bopping around in it).

31 weeks, 5 days.

Graham's pincher grasp is developing. He practiced it on the zipper pull here and a big bead. Next comes finger foods.

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

31 weeks, 4 days.

Graham helped with today's photography by eating the lens cap. He had a packed day of a sing-a-long, 2 meals with new foods (tofu and asparagus!) and a playgroup.

31 weeks, 3 days.

Graham had his friends over for playgroup today!

Daddy and Graham getting ready to go to a sing-a-long together.

Saturday, September 17, 2011

31 weeks, 1 day.

Graham enjoyed 2 meals again today, but his favorite eating-related activity was learning to brush his teeth, which Daddy demonstrated for him.

Graham also tried baba ghanoush at a friend's BBQ and loved it (so much so that he started crying when he finished his portion).

Friday, September 16, 2011

31 weeks.

Graham tried out "Rough and Tumble Jr." at the Y. I think it's a little too advanced for him (he will have a lot more luck navigating the obstacle course when he can crawl) but he had a great time seeing his friend Sam.

Thursday, September 15, 2011

30 weeks, 6 days.

Graham practiced standing with Daddy in the morning and then moved on to the coffee table later in the day.

Today was his first day of having two square meals--lunch was brown rice and acorn squash and dinner was peas with mint, plain yogurt, and apples.

James the music teacher singing hello to Graham at music class!

30 weeks, 4 days.

Graham showed his buddy Lola his toys this afternoon. She's 10 months and crawling & walking all over--time to baby-proof in case of more visits.

Sunday, September 11, 2011

30 weeks, 2 days (aka, 7 months).

Congratulations, Mac and Jim! Graham loved Charleston and was very sad he didn't get to attend the wedding (most especially to see Mac in her wedding dress again, which he loved very much during the fittings). He sends his best.

Graham took flight #6 today. His cold made him a little less pleasant than usual, but he still was complimented up the wazoo by our fellow passengers. After being off solids since Wednesday due to the cold, Graham had dinner tonight (plain yogurt + sweet potatoes) and seemed extremely excited to be eating again. Dinner kicked off a long round of giggles which rolled into a very pleasant bedtime routine--quite a change from the sad, sniffly Graham we've had the past few days.

Friday, September 9, 2011

30 weeks.

Happy birthday, Daddy! Graham's cold seems to be improving, but is still dragging him down. He recovered to share a laugh with the birthday boy before leaving our beach house to head to Charleston for Auntie Mac & Jim's wedding!

29 weeks, 5 days.

Graham in the Atlantic! He is loving the surf now, after being scared of it when he gave it a try at Lake Michigan and our first day on Pawley's Island.

In less good news, Graham somehow picked up his first cold and has been a sniffly mess most of the day. Fingers crossed that he sleeps well tonight and feels better tomorrow.

Happy birthday Nana!

29 weeks, 4 days.

Graham figured out that he can slap the water while in the pool today.

Happy birthday, Grammy!

Monday, September 5, 2011

29 weeks, 3 days.

Graham was very excited to arrive at our beach house on Pawley's Island, South Carolina this afternoon. He is learning the "so big" game and finds it hilarious. Flight #5 went great!

Saturday, September 3, 2011

29 weeks, 1 day.

Graham was very excited to see his babysitter for the weekend, aka Nana, when he woke up this morning. Thanks again, Nana!

He also enjoyed a private concert performed by Daddy, though he hopes Daddy adds some Beach Boys to his set list soon.

Grammy, please note the happy apple. Thank you!

Friday, September 2, 2011

29 weeks.

Graham and his buddy Elliott took a trip to the park in their mobys this afternoon. Graham was excited to see the world-traveling Elliott, who just returned from 3 weeks in the UK.

Thursday, September 1, 2011

28 weeks, 6 days.

Graham watches Sam, just off camera. After accompanying me to the hairdresser, he had a new puree for dinner--peaches--which he loved. All Graham wants to do right now is practice standing. He's taken a few steps while holding onto fingers or a surface, but hasn't tried pulling up yet.
